The Famoso is a 35' Viking with twin diesel caterpillar engines and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
She carries Penn International rods and reels: four 20's spinning, four 30's and two 50's. Reel lines are 30 and 50 lb test.
The boat has one marlin fighting chair, 1 fish finder, 1 Loran C and 2 V.H.F. radios There is also a head onboard and a CD player plus one air-conditioned bedroom cabin
About the Captain:
Carlos (Campechano) Valladares has 18 years of experience as a capitan and 12 before that as a mate. As capitain he has won 6 tournments in a variety of locations including Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres and Puerto Morelos. His English is at 50%
Preferably fishing places: Playa Del Carmen, Calica, Punta Venado, Puerto Aventuras, Chen Zubul, Punta Maroma, Puerto Morelos, South and North side of the island

| The rates above include an experienced English speaking Captain and mate, box lunch (full days only), transportation from the marina Club Nautico to your hotel or pier of arrival on Cozumel, beer, soft drinks, snacks, plenty of purified bottled drinking water, plenty of purified ice, all the rods, reels and tackle needed for your trip and plenty of fresh bait. The only 2 things these trips do not include are the tip for your captain and mate and the mandatory Federal fishing licenses. |  |
