The Maikaira is a 33' Well-Craft with twin diesel Caterpillar engines and a cruising speed of 24 knots.

She carries four 30 and 4 50 Penn International rods. Lines are 30 and 50 lb test.

The boat has 2 fighting chairs, 1 fish finder, 1 Loran C, 1 radar, 3 V.H.F. radios.. There are 2 heads on board, one AC'd cabin and one AC'd bedroom. Also available: a CD player for music a tv and dvd player.

JJose Luis Castillo has 24 years of experience as a captain and 8 as a mate. has 8years experience as a mate and 20 as a capital. He has won 5 tournaments and prizes in different years and places in different years and places like: Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Isla Mujeres, Punta Allen, and Xcalak. HIs English is at 70%

Preferably fishing places: Playa Del Carmen, Calica, Punta Venado, Puerto Aventuras, Chen Zubul, Punta Maroma, Puerto Morelos, South and North side of the island
4.5 hour trips for up to 6 people: $550 Total 6 hour trips for up to 6 people: $650 Total 8 hour trips for up to 6 people: $750 Total
The rates above include an experienced English speaking Captain and mate, box lunch (full days only), transportation from the marina Club Nautico to your hotel or pier of arrival on Cozumel, beer, soft drinks, snacks, plenty of purified bottled drinking water, plenty of purified ice, all the rods, reels and tackle needed for your trip and plenty of fresh bait. The only 2 things these trips do not include are the tip for your captain and mate and the mandatory Federal fishing licenses.
