I hear the first 3 days you will be able to get in and buy without a card..and if you have a card from the states it works as well...No card needed for the bodega.

You can borrow my card any time, Nauticab. But I'm leaving the day they open (wah) and won't be back for 3 weeks. Actually you live so close, I'll just drop by on my biweekly trip up there and see if you want to go with. They never look at the picture anyway, do they?

[size="3"]Some FYIs sam's club cozumel on facebook......, Sams Club México on facebook.......,

Sams Club México link: http://www.sams.com....Individual-Home

For Paula....: Sam's should takes all major credit cards...., AE, Visa, Mastercard, most major "mexican bank" debit and credit cards.

A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum.....: I recently tried to cash out 3 US Savings Bonds at an ARVEST BANK located in a Super WalMart in the land of Sam Walton...., using a US Passport, my SS #(was confirmed by bank), AE and other ID, I was refused because I didn't have a bank account and local mailing address....... Arvest Bank is a bank and brokerage with branches in Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. Beginning with Benton County's first automatic teller machine (ATM) in 1976 and the launch of an Internet banking web site in 1998, Arvest Bank has been modernizing its services. Arvest Bank's Chairman of the Board is Jim Walton, son of Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart. I wasn't upset, I was a stranger in a foreign land, I had to play by their rules....., I was only born a short distance from where the bank now is.

I had heard the 29th too, but the truck that went by the house announcing the opening said the 30th and there was a Sam's guy with a big sign on the corner of 65 and Juarez that said opening the 30th... Not sure now what to believe!

I'll join you on the D grovel list when I get back from my trip! I hope I'm going to get a report so I can salivate. I have some fears that the prices might not be as good at this Sam's as they are at the one in Playa because of Aviomar's typical squeeze job. Charles reminded me that was a distinct possibility. Let us hope he's wrong. In any case, we'll soon find out. PLEASE tell me they have cold fresh gallons of milk!!

oh i can't wait! haha
actually, construction is almost done, but due to their filling the cenotes, the natural drainage was shot and they are installing rainwater drains on my street. great, a few more days of jackhammers!
our wall we petitioned for turned out decent enough. and they closed off the planned entrance/exit on 13 and 75. when neighbors band together......
