...TROPICAL STORM DON FORMS OVER THE SOUTHERN GULF OF MEXICO...

This weather system is north of Cancun and moving northwest.

This storm has brought cloudy skys, some light rain and a little cooling to Cancun and Cozumel.

THERE ARE NO COASTAL WATCHES OR WARNINGS IN EFFECT. INTERESTS IN
THE NORTHWESTERN GULF OF MEXICO SHOULD MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF DON.
WATCHES AND/OR WARNINGS MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PORTIONS OF THE TEXAS
COAST TONIGHT OR THURSDAY.

The heck with warnings, we are going to Punta Sur tomorrow.....


Based on the forecast at Windfinder.com (usually very accurate), that might not be your best choice. Winds from the SE, 14 - 17 knots, with gusts to 19 knots. Good day for skin exfoliation and boogie boarding.
