Hi,

I've searched the forum for some contact information for the company/guy that will bring stuff over from the mainland, but can't seem to find it.

I have a refrigerator sized piece of equipment that I need to get to the island from Cancun. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Carlos Castro -- he lives in Cozumel & has a service that picks up goods from Cancun to Tulum & brings over as consolidated shipments in his own trucks.

Honest. Inside delivery. Cell 987-876-1676. Landline 872-0713.

Not much English spoken. He'll need to meet with you to pick up the shipping receipt.

There's a shipper that consolidates goods purchased in Playa. His booth is outside the front door of the Sam's Club in Playa and he will pick up from other stores in Playa besides Sam's. Delivers twice per week or used to and if you're willing to wait, it can be consolidated sometimes and cost less. But his prices are pretty reasonable. You'd need to go and talk to him and leave a copy of your receipt plus your address and directions to your house on Cozumel.

Liverpools uses the Zapata Brothers who ship all over the Yucatan including Cozumel but I don't have their info and, again, you must speak Spanish to deal with them.

I would advise anyone who lives here or owns a home to put this information in your address book as it is the most accurate and up-to-date. Thanks Traveller!

I ended up using Transportes Maldonado 869 1294

Got my stuff in 3 days. You need to have the measurements of your shipment and the weight (approx). Not sure if they speak English.

Overall a positive experience.
