But "Sea lice" is a name for an infestation of the larvae of the thimble jellyfish. This is what we were refering to with the treastment using vinegar.

But I do know exposure to Nettle plant produces an irritation similar to that of Poison Ivy, Poison Oak and Poison Sumac. In all of them the irritant is acidic and a remedy is to apply a paste of baking soda and water.

But actually a tea made from the Nettle plant, Nettle Tea is very high in potasium , calcium, beta carotine and amino acids and has been a very popular health drink.
