Isolated thunderstorms, scattered showers, and showers predicted for every day next week. Should we leave the sunscreen at home and bring umbrellas?

geez, if it rains us locals would be delighted...from everything I have read, and the amount of watering we are doing, we are in a drought situation.

Bring the sunscreen, and a rain coat...but remember, you will not see snow. B)

I think they should bring a parka just in case it snows - you can never be too prepared!

I wouldn't base any forecast on historical data. The weather patterns and even the migratory patterns of fish such as Mahi Mahi have changed quite a bit in the last decade. The last few years the rain has pretty much stopped by Junes end and there has been very little rain from July-Oct..

Since Tuesday we have received...11.8 inch's of rain.

Today was by far the most intense rain day, but it seems to be over and all is right with the world again.

I don't trust that it's over. Especially having had the pleasure of spotting a pod of black dolphins swimming south early this afternoon. Old wives' tale and all ... I did love watching them though!

My grandfather used to say, looking at the sky, "Not enough blue to make a Dutchman's pants." I still don't know what that means.......:P

Any kind of raincoat or poncho is too darn hot to wear for me. I bring an umbrella and slosh around in my sandles. Like the saying "it's a DRY heat", well, a Coz summer rain, is a WARM rain.
