What's the right tip amount for an instructor for a refresher course, a personal divemaster and the boat divemaster. Also if you are doing multi days diving should you tip daily or after the last day.

Thanks for any info,

Jim

Tip each day the crew may change out from day to day depending on the OP. When just doing a standard 2 tank dive with a DM and a captain I usually tip 10-15 dollars and then if I have had the same DM and Captain the whole trip the last day I always give a little extra. Sorry no info on the refresher course and it has been too long for me to remember what I tipped the private DM I used the first time I dove Coz.

Just a personal opinion, but I tip based on the quality of service, be it in a restaurant or on a dive boat. This has been as low as five dollars for a divemaster who had us swimming into a current for fully half an hour. to fifteen for an exceptionally good experince.
