Paula, it looks like you cracked this problem as you're showing up female. Could you tell us how you did it? It seems all the members were converted over default as male since there was no option for this in the old DCForums. :(

Lots, and lots of stuff you can do with the setup section.

Once you are signed in, you will see on the top right hand side of the page, a silhouette, and your screen name with a pull down menu.

From that pull down menu, choose "My Profile"

From that page, upper right side, you will see "Edit my profile"

On the left hand side of the page will be "Change about me page"

You can select all the information you want people to know, and the gender selection is at the bottom of that page.

Also, you can select your signature, photo, avatar, etc.

I have found a new way to display the posts and threads.

Go again to your silhouette, with your screen name.

Select "Settings" from that menu.

You will now see "YOUR OPTIONS" you will see "Profile, Forums, Settings"

Select "Forums"

At bottoms of page you will see the following...

If you change the Topic Display Mode to "Linear" it will display the page as the origninal post, and all the threads will be open. It is more like the site used to be.

View/Posting/Email Prefs

* Include a copy of the post when emailing me from a watched topic
Enabling this option will send a plain text version of the post in the watched topic email.
* Watch every topic I reply to
o If enabled, choose default notification type:
* Topic Display Mode Standard: Posts are shown one after the other.
Linear +: The first post is always shown at the top of the page, with other posts shown one after the other.

Outline: All posts in a topic are shown in tree display, with one thread at a time shown.

The most important thing in life is not knowing everything, it's having the phone number of somebody who does!

I have twice had to change my forum view setting to Linear + to view all replies. Once everyone figures everything out, this will offer lots of new and improved options, but there is a learning curve.
