Microwaves can get a funky smell to them, so I use the following 2 ingredeinces to freshen and eliminate the odor.

In a glass measuring cup (any microwave bowl/cup will work)

1 table spoon of white vinegar
1 cup water

Place in microwave, on high and bring to boil.

Let it still in the microwave until it is cool enough to handle, and discard.

I did this about a month ago and the microwave still has not pick up any cooking odors.

***May sure you don't over boil because the steam will build up on the microwave and blow the door open/off.

Lesson learned the hard way on that one :(

The most important thing in life is not knowing everything, it's having the phone number of somebody who does!

Another really good tip is to cut up lemons into slices (I would think limes would also work well) in a bowl with some water, zap this in the microwave for about 30 - 60 seconds. Smells heavenly, really deodorizes, and you can wipe down any residue.

I suffer from the Betty Crocker syndrome.

Thanks Valli. I also put limes in my garbage disposal.

Limes work well on your counter if you have those little "piss" ants. (sorry, about the word, but from my original roots, that is what we called them).

Just rub the new/used lime around the back edges of your counters, and they beat it for a while.

Okay, now that I am in Betty Crocker overdrive this is something else that I do.

I cut my dryer sheets in half, you really only need half.
Once used, clean your Computer and TV screens with the used dryer sheet.

Seeing how I am sharing today, how about an antidote for Skunk?

1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide
1 teaspoon liquid soap
1/4 cut baking soda
Bath in this solution and rinse off.

No, we don't have Skunks in Cozumel of the animal kind :P

CURE FOR HANGOVER:

glass of ice
1.5 ounces Vodka
3 dashes of Tabasco
3 dashes of Worschershire
a little ground black pepper
top off with Zing-Zang Bloody Mary Mix
garnish with whatever floats your boat that morning

VIOLA! No hangover!

repeat if first dose is not successful

If this dosen't work I have a great recipe for breakfast margaritas!
