I'm looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom, long term rental, starting February 1, 2014. I do have a medium sized dog. A pool would be a plus, but looking under $1000/month. Any help would be appreciated.

How many Real Estate companies offer "Long Term" rentals on Coz  and what are the names of those companies?

The timeframe you are suggesting is high season, so rentals are at the peek prices.

You may want to check with Cozumel Living, and Cozumel Capital for rentals.

*just found this listing:http://www.dodocozumel.com/index2.php

Also, there are Property Management companies that also do rental properties:

http://www.cozumelrentalhomes.com/

VRBO is another possibility, but if you want beachfront, it can be pricy.  http://www.vrbo.com/.../cozumel-island

If you have transportation, you might consider Residency Reef condo's which is south of central.http://www.cozumelvi...enciasreef.html

Ask if the electric is included.   If you're responsible for paying the CFE bill, be aware if you use a lot of AC of the additional costs may be high.

The most important thing in life is not knowing everything, it's having the phone number of somebody who does!
