Don and mine's favorite thing to do is rent a jeep and just take off driving around the island beach hopping along the way and make our way to the other side ( where I am in awe of the beauty of God's creation) and back across through the country side of the island. (We have learned to bring a bottle opener and knife along with us,however if you don't have a knife for the lime, you can stab it with a key to get the lime juice into the Sol bottle, works great!)

We also like to walk around the town in the evenings taking in the atmosphere.

We have done the Fury Catamaran Snorkeling tour and that was a blast.

We have done the Pirate Lobster Cruise and that was also a blast.

We have gone the deep sea fishing and had a great time there also (Don caught a 35lb Mahi Mahi which we took a big filet back to Playa Azul where the chef prepared it for us for dinner).

We have also played golf at the Cozumel Country Club and that was fun, except for it was June and mosquitos were bigger than the golf balls lol!

We have climbed the Lighthouse (almost died!) but it was still fun and a great view from up there.

Everybody has a great time don't they!
our preferences are towards a vw bug or other vehicle so we can lock up out stuff....are prices tend to be higher for a jeep.
we've done the Fury trip...it was o.k. but too big and crowded to suit me.
we like smaller boats and especially loved our day sailing on the Tucan.
get out there people and grab the love.

We end up with a truckload of folk (6 people last time, 6 people next time too) so we just rent something big and hit the road. Of course the Tequila factory is a mandatory stop along with Punta Sur and Coconuts. The Bob Marley bar is a frequent stop too. Add a few random beaches on the east side and whichever souvenir shop strikes our fancy and we have a full day of fun.
