We are currently here on the island. My husband is a type 2 diabetic and takes a fairly new injectable hypoglycemic called Byetta. It comes in a pre filled syringe just like insulin and he needs to attach a new needle everytime he injects it. He forgot to bring the needles. The syringe is the same as the pre filled insulin syringes . Does anyone know where we might be able to purchase these needles. We checked with the pharmacy at mega but I'm not sure the gal at the counter. Understood what we were asking for and she said no.

Try Dori farmacia and take a sample along.  They are the most likely to have what you need.

If they don't have it no one will.

Dori is on Rosada Salas between 15 and 20 on the north side of the street.  Every cabi will know where it is.

The Spanish word for needle: jeringa  but take your syringe along and hope for the best.

I have some doubts you will find this here but I hope I'm wrong.

So glad to hear that!  I had my doubts as you just never know.  Electric heating pads are unavailable anywhere on the island that I've found just to give my latest example of something one would think would be available.  Had to order it from amazon global
