Found this place Thursday night after eating chicken fajitas for $160p at Cafe Denis.  They are just around the corner on Salas between 5 & 10 and their chicken fajitas are half the price.  We went back Friday night and splurged on the seafood plate for $400p.  Just the right amount of food fir two.  (Especially after eating all those salsa & chips)  Plus there non-alcoholic drinks are $15p; not the standard $22-25p.

They also have 4 daily specials for $6US.  We are going to try those next.

Indio is the owner and chef and a very friendly guy.  They had 2 tables outside and we took the last one.  But then more people (expats) arrived and they ended up bringing out 3 more tables to the side-walk where it was much cooler.

Very local place and highly recommend it.  We will be back!

Betty

Added a photo but it didn't seem to show here.  First time and I know there is a trick; but no luck.

We love Indio's! I think we were his first customers before he was officially opened, he recruited us from in front of Oxxo to come to his restaurant for free turkey tacos! We followed him there, and he talked about how he was opening his restaurant with help of his family. We were so pleased to see he was still open when we came back the next trip, and he remembered us. Good food, reasonable prices, and great service.

Betty, had to try this, don't mean to hijack the thread. Indio's sounds great!
