Sounds like El Pescador is becoming more like Chen Rio restaurant. Hope that's not the case. :(

Loved Chen Rio for years, but they raised their prices too much, drinks got crappy, and the bill was always murky.  Finally, enough was enough.

Really liked El Pescador in May.  I hope they are not going the way of Chen Rio already.  If they do we will just move on down the road........................

Wow. Whole lobster is $5-6 per pound here. I don't understand how anyone can even pay 330 pesos.

New Hampshire, USA. I usually don't buy lobster unless it's the same price per pound as hot dogs.

Lucky #@#$@%.

We stopped at El Pescador in May.  The margarita one in a our party had was so atrocious, we left.  I mean if they can't make a marg, I wasn't risking the food.  And I am saying dishwater marg, not just not good.  We passed it around and it was a solid vote of 'yuck'.

We don't go to Chin Rio....period! Went a few times years ago.  I have never had a good experience there.

Chen Rio has always been one of our "drive by in a hurry" places.

Keep in mind there are two places located at Chen Rio.

The original Chen Rio Restaurant which we avoid as noted above for poor service and expensive prices. This is the one on the south side.

The one on the north side of the above (10' away?) is el Pescador. We've always had good service and food there. If the lobster was listed as "market price", ask before you buy. It could be like the waiters at Chen Rio padding the bill.
