I used to work right around the corner from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo were the ORIGINAL wings were created.
The wings we get here need to be cut apart (drum from wing) and clip the tip of the wing off.
I put them all in a bowl with a little bit of olive oil to coat.
I bake my wings, but you can deep fry, or grill.
Once cooked you only need two ingredients;
Franks Hot Sauce (regular or one for wings). I usually just use the reg. Neither sauce is HOT more medium to the taste buds.
1/2 stick of butter. If your using the large bottle of Frank's, then use a whole stick...IT HAS TO BE BUTTER.
In a saucepan, empty the Frank's hot sauce, and butter. Blend until melted and hot.
Throw in the cooked wings, switch around and serve.
Wings must be served with blue cheese dressing (I also add more blue cheese), celery sticks, and hot garlic bread.
All ingredients are available here.
