The most important thing in life is not knowing everything, it's having the phone number of somebody who does!

The background of the photo shows the street still torn up.  Whats the update on the plaza rebuild?

The square is a MESS.

They have started to close the open pits on the north spur of the square, by Wet Wendy's.    But, from what I observed, the rest of the square still have open pits.

Most businesses who can legally use the pedestrian walkway for tables and displays have lost 80% or more of their traffic.

It's rough travel down the beat'n path to support these local business, but it's worth it.

Vern, we don't always wear masks, but when we do...

Skibum, it would have been delightful to meet you.  Never pass up an opportunity to introduce yourself.

Fun picture.  So you are a real person? ;)

Are Casa denis and Mocalitas surviving?

Contrary to popular belief, I am real, and I don't bite, nor do  my horns show...much.

Both Casa Dennis and Mocalitas are open.  But, I am sure they are hurting.

El Coctelito's is in a new location.  They are just past the Forum shop on Melgar, heading north.  Music on Fri/Sat nights

The Pub is open.  It used to be La Veranda.

There is the Bar Wagen.  It is converted, tricked out in neon VW bus, across from Playa Azul.  Serves all kinds of cocktails.

Oh, to die for King Burrito Express-across from Blue Angle hotel.

I am sure there are a few more as well.
