Punta Sur is once again open on Sunday from 9-4. The road to the beach was actually pretty good to travel on. The price has gone up to $14.00 for adults and $8.00 for children.

Thanks for the update.  I wonder if that will only be for high season?

Good to know. Just booked our first trip back to the island for July after being away for a few years. Always liked to go to Punta Sur on Sunday to miss the cruisers. Hope its stays open in the summer

Thanks for that update.  I am surprised they did that before Easter.

This is why it needed to remain a free attraction....  Unimproved...  Raw... A mini adventure rather than a planned organized thing...

That sucks. Need to revise July trip itenary. Sunday was the best day to go to avoid the boat people.
