A small tan dog, curly hair, red & grey collar, arrived on our patio last night.  Looks scared, dirty, possibly injured? not sure....  Is eating.  If you know of anyone who lost this precious dog, he / she can be found at Calle 17 and Ave. 15 Bis Sur.  The white house with the blue wall across the street from Corpus Christi church.  Please pass this info onto others.  My email address is:  gemma.deragon@gmail.com

Also any information on the Humane Society here, vets, etc. is appreciated.

Julio is the island's most popular vet. If the dog you found is wearing a collar, chances are very good one of the island's vets knows it.  Julio might be a place to start and to maybe get the pet checked out for injury as well.

People steal dogs sometimes and this could be what happened with this little guy.

Facebook is a where many Mexican Cozumelenos hang out and chat and someone may have posted something on there.

Julio's office is between 19 and 21 Sur on the 65 Avenida.  Middle of the block on the west side of 65.  Bright orange and right next door to an open air BBQ place featuring ribs. 987 872 7310

There is also a vet very close to you there in Corpus Christi and maybe someone else can supply that info as  haven't used him.  And there is also Vetenaria Malix on 95. Might be a good idea to leave word with all the vets.

You are very good to take the scared little guy in.  Lucky dog.

I would check with Ivan, at Oasis Animal Hospital that is on 11 y 25.  His number is 987-113-0708.  He may know the dog.  If he is injured Ivan may provide care.

Ivan is also (I believe) associated closely with the HS.

The most important thing in life is not knowing everything, it's having the phone number of somebody who does!
