We enjoyed another wonderful week in Cozumel despite the Nortes that came through Wednesday and Thursday. We attended all three Carnival parades (I had my fill of Marquesitas).
We once again stayed at Playa Azul; did the breakfast only (which is delicious). We usually had Ceviche, guacamole and/or quesadillas for lunch at whichever beach club we were at that day.
For dinner we ate at La Terraza two times (grilled fish and pasta, coconut shrimp with mango sauce are soooo good), Mosaicoz (love the Betta brick oven pizza and, they have Dr. Pepper), La Mission, El Moro (will definitely go back there), El Coctelito (was not as good as other times we have eaten there, but, I think they may have been overwhelmed with Carnival. They were out of grouper and guacamole; so I will give them another chance next time we are there), The Pub (good food and nice garden).
We snorkeled every day except for Wednesday (did not even get in the water). We were able to do the El Cielo Snorkel tour on Friday ( it was great except it was still windy and cold; not the best day for this tour). We spent a day a Chankanaab (this is always one of our favorite places to go).
Of course we made about three trips around the island beach hopping and snorkeling. Stopped at the new Sky Reef beach club (very nice place with some good snorkeling).
Travel was smooth without any delays (we take American Airlines out of Texarkana to DFW to Cozumel).
