The journey will start on May 22nd to the 23rd.


There will be 35 canoes with 360 oarsmen. The breakdown is 188 men, 172 women and 199 volunteers who will also join the dance ceremony.

 on Friday May 22 will be held on Farewell ritual of the canoe in the port of Pole (Xcaret), who will row the 31 kilometers of sea to touch down at about 1 pm on the island of Cuzamil (Cozumel), where the reception will be at the Chankanaab park; at 7 pm will be held for the first time a meditation ceremony in San Gervasio park, which will be closed exclusively for canoeists. 
The same day, Friday 22, Quintana Roo Park at 8 pm It will take place the presentation of dances for the Lady of the Moon, with completely free access, with the only requirement to go with white dress, while Saturday 23 at 9 am will be held at the Chankanaab park the dismissal of the canoeists, who will carry the message of the goddess Ixchel the port of Pole, Bahia Dos Playas Xcaret Park, where the welcoming ceremony was also held.

We watched them practice for 2 weeks when we were there in April.  They were up way too early in the morning for me.
