Think out of the box....there are opportunities for you here in Cozumel...ask yourself this:
do you need to have the same income you have in the States? if the answer is Yes
then it may not work, but if you want to be semi-retired and doing something.
come down, rent a place for a few months, network with the locals and expats....
you never know. There are tons of volunteer ops as well...Humane Society, Red Cross
to name a few...
We came down here 3 years on a dive trip, walked into a bar that we never usually go to
and met the people who were selling their tour business...we bought it and live here now
almost full time...it keeps us busy and focused, it pays expenses most of the time
and we are happy living in Paradise. My husband is an Electrical Contractor for 40
years but he would never consider doing that here. I was a family counselor...
Go figure!! here we are running a tour business....
