Coming for a couple of weeks starting Saturday. Looks like the weather has been pretty warm, so hope that continues. No nortes on the horizon?  Any thoughts on the mosquitos right now? Should I be bringing my repellant, or is it currently available on the island?  Looking forward to it!

We have had a lot of rain lately so mosquitoes are active. If you prefer a DEET-based repellent, pack it in. Other repellents are available here. Protection is very, very important now -- despite press reports, Cozumel has two established mosquito-transmitted viruses and is awaiting the arrival of a third from the south.

Thanks, Deb, for the heads up. I'll bring some along.

OK, I know about dengue and chikungunya. What's the third?
