We have never been over to the mainland in the 10 times we have been to Cozumel.  This June, we decided to ferry over for the day.  For you that have done so, any suggestions of what we should do and see, eat or shop etc?  We have no clue what to do other than the usual walking around, shopping, eating etc, so any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hop on the ADO bus to Tulum and check out the ruins. They are oceanfront with fantastic views and beach. Xcaret is also a great way to spend the day.....

I got my van guy to get me a van for the day and took the extended fam to Coba and climbed the pyramid.  Interesting tour.  You rent bikes to ride around the site with a guide.  Then took them to a cenote down there.

Hit Tulum on the way back.  It was nice, but a HOT afternoon and the sobrinos were done with the sweating and the education...
