Hi. Is there anyone who is a 'guru' with these wonderful meters? Just when I think I have the read-pay-read  process right something else comes up. This last time I read...paid...re-read (power went back on and thought all was well. Aug 1 power goes off! Had to re-read the card into the meter. Trying to figure if there is something I missed in the process. Would love to get one of the "old" ones but guess that just does not happen.

We added a second meter in February....one of the new/monthly pay meters. It was a PITA. After we had 3 months of on-time payments we were able to have it changed over to the bi-monthly billing so it is in sync with our old meter.

So what did you need to show or do to get them to change the meter? We have been over 6 mo of on time payments. Thanks!!

We had to bring copies of 3 paid receipts, a letter (in Spanish) requesting to have our billing cycles changed from monthly to bi-monthly, and a copy of our passports. We actually brought our electrician in with us. I believe the cost to change the billing was about $270 pesos.
