Had the pleasure of going to Kun Che Park in El Cedral to get first hand information regarding what it is, and what the park has to offer.
Basically, it is an educational, and gastronomical immersion into the Mayan culture
The tour consists of explaining, and demonstrating the Mayan culture as you reach each station.
The two highlights of our tour was the Ball Court. Players are really playing as the drummers on their platform beat for victory (they aren't kidding around).
Besides the ball game, they perform the Dance of the Deer, Dance of the Hunt, and Dance of the Fire.
The second highlight was the lunch they service (if you purchase that portion of the package). It was very tasty. You are also entertained by local dancers who know how to kick up their heels!
There is a full bar (they will deliver during the ball game), as well as a tequila tasting as you are leaving. High end tequila...trust me.
It is open to the public, as well as cruise passengers. The maximum number of persons in a group is 25. So, your not crowded and can see and hear everything.
You can use your own camera for pictures, or they do offer a photographer to take pictures with beautiful winged actors.
The prices are listed in the website, but some good news if you have Plan Local you receive a discount.
