I was cruising the TA PdC forum and found this video - shocking to me. :o The OP takes a long stroll north down the beach from the ferry pier. It's dated Jan 2016, but much of the forum discussion was recent and said it's as bad or worse. It was mentioned it's not as bad over on the Playacar side. Still.... One can move the slider on the vid to skip ahead.


I always fly into Cancun and spend a couple nights in PdC on my way to Cozumel... mainly to recover from the trip as well as being able to walk to the beach and enjoy it.  :(

It has been bad for years now.  On Isla that type of erosion seems to come and go every year or two in different spots.  


Personally, I avoid PDC and Cancun as the last decade or two has been very cruel to them (for my preferences)
