First steps underway for Police Video Surveillance Cameras

Employees of a video surveillance company employed by the city have been seen around town installing equipment. Some have been seen, for example, putting them on traffic lights.

According to information leaked by the police authorities, there will be 13 cameras at various undisclosed locations around town that will be monitored 24 hours per day by police staff. This, they say, will make it more difficult from criminals to get away, will record the details of many accidents. And it's also a means of checking license plates to check their legal status and if they may have been stolen.
