I have REALLY strugged with how to post pictures, and have failed at every turn.

I am now using Picasa 3, and don't have a clue as to how to post pictures.

WE ALL WANT TO POST LIKE STEVE...

What software to use, and step by step of how to do it.

Steve, can you walk through the steps for posting pic's on this site.

I was always the kid who asked the 'dumb questions'...found out, nobody else knew answers either :D

Paula...I'll see what I can do for you tomorrow. Your pictures do have to be stored online in order to link them to a site. I use Photobucket. You can set up a free acccount there and give it a try. I have a paid membership so my photos will keep showing no matter how many people look at them. That is basically called bandwidth. If I didn't have that and to many people saw my photos all you would see is a red X until the next month when my bandwidth would start over again. What that means is with a free account you can only post so many photos and have so many people look at them depending on their size before your account is shut down for the month.

I'll try and do some screen shots so you can see what to do.

I didn't forget you. I just bought a cheap laptop to bring down with me and I am seeming to have a few problems or I am going crazy. I installed a program I use for photos the day after I received the computer and used the program several times. I went to use it tonight and it is no where to be found on my computer. Even the serial number I sent to myself as a back up has dissapeared from my mail box. I still have a hard copy that I printed out so am trying to install the program now.

I'll try again tomorrow if I don't disapear first.

Paula...Once you have a Photobucket account you can view the photos you have uploaded. As you mouse over each photo a box will appear showing you the links you can use for that photo. The one you want is for this board is the bottom one. It says IMG code. Click on it then paste it into your reply where you want it to go. When you preview your post the photo will show up.

well Steve I've got good news, and I've got bad news...

The good news is I have a Photobucket account, and have down loaded some pictures into it.

The bad news, it doesn't look a darn thing like you posted.

I think I need to go to Sylvan Learning for Photobucket.

I don't know what to say Paula. When you open photobucket and go to one of your albums where you have photos stored it should come up the same as mine.

You can wait till I get down there or send me your user name and password so I can see what you have. You can change your password after I take a look. Maybe I can walk you through it.

19 days to go.
