my son will be coming down in aug does anyone know anything about the skydiving he has always wanted to do this.

There is sky diving op on the island (within the last month) I will get the name and number when I go into town tomorrow.
There is also an outfit in Playa that does skydiving. I know the Op in Playa only does Tandem dives (expert, and guest).

It is the group out of Playa del Carmen. They have an office (or did) right behind first bar on your left when you get off the ferry.
The airport they use is just up the hill.
So, it would be easy to go to Playa, but they are advertising at the private airstrip on the south end here for skydiving.
